Lower School Curriculum

2 -4 Year Old Classrooms

In our Lower School, we provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere that encourages growth.  Our curriculum is designed to develop our young students spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally.

Children engage in activities that help with motor development. Children expand their social skills as they play and interact with their classmates and teachers.

In our two year old class, our students are taught Bible scriptures, numbers in English and Spanish, the alphabet in English and Spanish, shapes, colors, and parts of the body. Teachers constantly read to the students and teach proper speech, communication, and listening skills. Our two year old class engage in age appropriate art and science projects.

In our three year old class, our students are taught Bible scriptures, phonics, poetry, Spanish, counting, and penmanship. The teacher consistently reads to the students and the students learn sounds to read site words. Our three year old class engage in age appropriate art and science projects.

Our four year old students are taught a Biblical world view. Our students begin to read small books and are taught cursive writing.  Research has shown that cursive writing improves a child's hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and other brain and memory functions including increased focus and prolonged attention. Students are taught number concepts. Our four year old class engage in age appropriate art and science projects.
